Belated thanks to give

Veröffentlicht auf von Jojo Heinz

I’m thankful life gave me everything I could ever ask for and more

I’m thankful for being born in to this cruel yet beautiful world

I’m thankful for being raised by loving, caring, wonderful parents

I’m thankful for my big family and a home to turn to

I’m thankful for my education

I’m thankful for all the people I met, who taught me and inspire me

I’m thankful for friends – old ones and new, near ones and far –  who love and respect me

I’m thankful that I know people who will always be honest with me

I’m thankful that I don’t have to worry about materials thinks, because I have what I need

But I’m thankful too for the knowledge that materials things are not what's important in life

I’m thankful that – despite all my insecurities, flaws and stupid action – I’m still able to like myself

I’m thankful for earplugs, trains, American TV series, coffee and croissants

I’m thankful for cranberries

I’m thankful for the experience that no matter where, there will always be someone willing to help you

I’m thankful for the experience that no matter where, there will always be someone worth being your friend

I’m thankful for surprises – good ones and bad ones – because they make me feel alive

I’m thankful for all the food I ate, all the water I drunk, all the people I met, all the laughter I shared this year

I'm thankful for all the good thoughts I had, as well as the sad ones

I am thankful for my body, because it is strong and it serves me well

I’m thankful that of all the possible human beings I was the lucky one being born

And I’m thankful I turned out curious and caring

I’m thankful there is music to listen, books to read, films to watch, images to contemplate

And I’m thankful for being able to appreciate them

I’m thankful life gave me everything I could ever ask for and more

"And I’m thankful for being able to appreciate them"<br /> Das ist das Wichtigste. Schließlich lässt sich das Glücklichsein nur subjektiv empfinden.<br /> <br /> Sehr schöner Text, Jojo!

WOW! I'm thankful having read your words, because they inspired me :-)
